  The choice of HUADA HAWKER battery AX lead-acid series or HUADA HAWKER battery EV lithium series for AGV vehicles needs to be determined based on different application scenarios and requirements.

  1. Selection of battery types for HUADA HAWKER AGV

  There are two types of HUADA HAWKER batteries used on AGV vehicles: lead-acid battery AX12-XX and lithium battery EV24-XX/EV48-XX. (XX represents battery capacity) For detailed HUADA HAWKER AGV battery parameter table, please contact the market service personnel.

  HUADA HAWKER lead-acid batteries have a single cell voltage of 12V and are connected in series to form a 24V or 48V battery pack. The optional capacity is 18 AH,26AH,45AH,60AH,75AH,100AH,120AH,150AH,180AH,200AH,250AH;

  The maximum allowable discharge current for lead-acid batteries is 10C or more, with a constant discharge current of 0.5C; the maximum charging current is 0.2C, and it generally takes 10-12 hours to charge an empty battery. Usually used for simple AGV vehicles with less compact production cycles. Due to the long charging time, a dedicated person is usually needed to manage the battery charging. Each AGV car needs to be equipped with two sets of batteries (one for backup and one for use).

  HUADA HAWKER lithium battery packs are available in 24V, 48V, 72V, 96V, etc., with 24V and 48V being the most widely used. The selectable capacity is 10 AH、20AH、30AH、40AH、50AH、60AH、80AH、100AH、120AH、160AH、180AH、200AH、300AH。 The size of lithium batteries is relatively flexible and can be customized according to the space of the AGV car battery compartment. The energy density is relatively high compared to lead-acid batteries, and under the same volume, it can store more electricity and have a longer endurance. Simultaneously supporting fast charging, standard HUADA HAWKER lithium batteries can achieve 2C charging, while customized ones can achieve up to 5C charging. The standard discharge is 0.5C and supports a maximum discharge of 2C.

  Due to the fast charging function of HUADA HAWKER lithium batteries, they are commonly used in scenarios with high automation requirements. There is no dedicated person on site to control the charging of the batteries. The AGV system automatically collects power information and matches the battery charging time and current according to different states, maximizing the efficiency of AGV small vehicles. Generally, it works in the form of shallow charging and shallow discharging. The battery level of the car remains basically unchanged every cycle of operation, and it can achieve long-term automatic operation without human supervision.

  2. Selection of Capacity for HUADA HAWKER AGV Battery

  There are two indicators for selecting battery capacity: load power (W) and continuous operation time (T).

  Working current A=power W/nominal voltage of battery

  Required battery capacity=working current A * continuous operation time T

  3. HUADA HAWKER AGV Battery Special Function Description

  HUADA HAWKER lithium batteries can be customized in size and functionality according to different application requirements.

  HUADA HAWKER lithium battery contains a battery management system (BMS), which has protection functions such as overcharging, overdischarging, overheating, and overcurrent. At the same time, it calculates the remaining state of charge (SOC) internally and can provide real-time feedback to the AGV car. It supports RS485 communication, CANopen communication, AO power output, and battery DIO information exchange. AGV vehicles can obtain battery status information through interactive interfaces and control the battery according to requirements, achieving intelligent management.
